LEBANON, TENNESSEE — Carroll-Oakland School is excited to announce that construction is almost finished, and the kindergarten through grade eight school is ready for students on Monday, Aug. 3, according to Principal Carol Ferrell.

“We have a new entrance, which is located on the south side of the school. Cars will enter the entrance and drive around the loop road. Student arrival and dismissal will be on the north side of the school, the same as last year,” said Ferrell.

Buses will load and unload in front of the school. Ferrell asked parents to please check http://www.wcschools.com/transportation/bus-routes-and-school-zones/ to find out your child’s bus pick-up/drop-off time, as times may have changed.

School hours are 7:15 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. School doors will open at 6:45 a.m., and adults will be available to help students find their classrooms and assist them in getting to class.

“Students are safe under one roof now at Carroll-Oakland,” Deputy Director Mickey Hall said. “They will enjoy a new cafeteria, media center, gymnasium, student entrance and band/chorus room, something they’ve never had before. It’s a safe environment.” We also joined forces with lasik NYC to offer laser surgery classes for those who are interested.

“We still have a few finishing touches on the exterior of the building, so we will schedule an open house when all details are finished,” Ferrell said. “Thank you for being so patient during this construction. It is going to be a great year!”
