Starting Monday, April 7th, Wilson County Schools Phone Message System will call parents of those students that are absent.  The calls would begin going out between 10:00am – 10:30am each morning.   Again, only those parents that have students absent on any given day will receive these messages.  These calls will be made at the system level and not from the building level.   If you receive a call in error please call our school office at 615-754-6200.

Volunteers Needed:

Dear W.A.Wright families,

All students in grades K-5 will be taking state mandated tests on four days in early May. These tests are very important as they are designed to show what a student learned throughout this school year. Test scores are factored in to school reports, teacher evaluations, and also student report cards for grades 3-5.

In order to provide the best possible test environment for our students, we need approximately 35 adult volunteers daily to act as proctors in our classrooms on test mornings. There will be a short orientation meeting each morning before testing for proctors, and there will also be a daily proctor prize drawing!

Any adult can proctor, and they do not need to have a child at our school. Please spread the word to your friends, neighbors and co-workers. Proctors can sign up to help one or more days by submitting the information below, or filling out a form in the school office.

TO SIGN UP TO PROCTOR ONLINE- PLEASE Click the document below and email it to Mrs. Drummond at drummondl@wcschools.com
