W. A. Wright is participating in the FundingFactory® Recycling Program! This fundraiser is FREE and simple because there's nothing to sell, no paperwork to fill out and no deadline. The program runs year-round, accumulating constant income for our efforts. But we won't get very far without your support. Please donate your empty printer cartridges, cell phones, small electronics, and laptops to our school and we'll take it from there! We will recycle the cartridges, cell phones, small electronics, and laptops through FundingFactory to earn new technology equipment.
Help WAW earn free money! Collect as many of the box tops as you can and send them to school with your students. Don't throw away free money! The school gets .10 cents for each boxtop returned. There is a collection box located in the front office. Tell your family, friends, and coworkers to help too.
Prevention of illnesses and infections in the school setting is extremely important for the health of all students and staff. Prevention and Protection are the key words to help contain the spread of illnesses.
Hand washing is the single most important prevention mechanism.
*Keep hands clean by washing thoroughly with soap and water for at least 30 seconds or using alcohol based sanitizer, if water is not available.
*Use a paper towel to turn off the faucet and to open the doors.
Coughing or sneezing
*cover the nose and mouth with the sleeve of the forearm or use a tissue to protect others from your germs. Fevers and illnesses
*If you are running a fever or have a contagious illness, please be considerate of others and stay out of school until you are symptom free for 24 hours.
The health of each student and staff member is important, so we all need to work together to prevent and protect a healthy school environment.
