4  STANDARD SIZE PENCILS  (already sharpened)

1 PLASTIC FOLDER WITH BOTTOM POCKETS AND NO PRONGS

4 BOXES OF 24 COUNT SMALL CRAYOLA  CRAYONS
We have found that the children can stay inside the lines better when they use the small size crayons.  We need the Crayola brand because they work the best.  Please write your child’s first name and last initial on each crayon.

SMALL PLASTIC  SCHOOL BOX  (Box should be no larger than 5” x 8 ½” and snap shut.  Box should not have a zipper.)

KINDER-MAT (Brand Name) 1-INCH REST MAT *
This is the red and blue four-section mat.  It is the only one we have found that will fold flat.  We are very limited on our rest mat storage area and
cannot store the thicker mats. 
*Mats may not have cloth covers over them.

1 pack of index cards (keep at home for making flash cards.)

1 box of envelopes (keep at home and use when sending money to school.)

PLEASE LABEL ALL ITEMS WITH A PERMANENT MARKER.

*For the safety of our Kindergarteners, we use backpacks without wheels.

Please have crayons, pencils, tablets, glue sticks, and scissors at home for your child to use for extra practice.  We have found this to be very beneficial to the child.  If your child is left-handed, be sure he/she has left-handed scissors to use at home.

Also, there will be a $15 materials fee that will be due at the beginning of the school year.

For your convenience, supplies will be available for purchase beginning July 29, 2009 in the office.
