Educational Background:  Bachelor of Arts Degree, M.T.S.U.     Major:  History  Minor:  Spanish & English
Elementary Certification, Masters of Arts in Teaching from M.T.S.U., Masters +45 hours education from M.T.S.U.

Work Experience:  35+ years teaching & administration experience.  Nine years at Mt. Juliet High School.  Experience also in Metro Nashville, Davidson County, TN at Dupont-Hadley

Subjects Taught:  Geography, U.S. History, Civics, Economics, Spanish, English

Other Teaching Activities:  Consultant for The Tennessean Newspaper In A Classroom Program, Career Ladder III teacher since program inception (1985), 1986 Teacher of the Year at Dupont-Hadley

Advice to Students:  Use your abilities to take advantage of all the opportunities offered to you.  Ask for help to solve problems

Most Enjoyable Part of Teaching:  The satisfaction and joy felt when students offer a sincere comment such as:  "You taught me alot," or "You're always fair", or "You really help us", or You really explain things well."

Hobbies:  crossword puzzles, cooking, reading, home projects, flower gardening.

Family: Three daughters.  One daughter is a CPA,  another is a Kindergarten teacher, and the third is a 11th grader at Mount Juliet High School..
