NEEDED:
Students to Serve on the
Student Technology Committee
As a part of our Technology Improvement Program, we will be forming a
Student Technology Committee to assist in our efforts to better integrate
technology into our everyday teaching and learning activities. In other words, we want students to help
create a dialogue of what exists, what does not exist, and what we should be
doing in computing and technology to meet the student needs.
Please help me select students who enjoy using technology and will
help:

Identify and prioritize
student technology needs
·
Provide trouble-shooting
assistance to teachers
·
Review technology policy
and the impact on student learning
·
Provide advice to the
Technology Coach on ways to improve how we use technology for learning
·
Serve as a resource for
Web page construction and design for teachers and subject areas
·
Be a resource for
demonstrating the wireless laptop computing lab during Parent/Teacher
conferences and an adult education open house.
This group will meet periodically to discuss student issues regarding
technology and make recommendations that are incorporated directly into the
instruction and curriculum of MJHS.
This committee will exist so that students can feel comfortable voicing
their concerns and feel confident their needs will be addressed.
You may wish to discuss these issues with the student you
