Ms. Hall's Reflection of Lesson

Ms. Hall began teaching in September of 1962 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Middle Tennessee State University in May of 1962.  For five years she taught all the high school English and seventh grade English, geography, and spelling at Rockvale School in Rutherford County.  During the 1967-68 school year, she was a graduate assistant at MTSU teaching two classes of Freshman Composition each semester while working on her Master of Arts Degree which she received in 1969.  In the fall of 1968, she began teaching at Mt. Juliet High School, where she has remained for 34 years, teaching mostly Honors English IV and Advanced Placement English.

Ms. Hall's philosophy of technology integration is:

"The integration of technology into the English and literature classroom helps attract students to the fascinating realm of research.  By using technology, students who are sometimes reluctant to look through shelves of books for material they can use often become captivated as they search the Internet and quickly find the information they need.  As their interest increases, they become eager to delve deeper into their research, thus enhancing their understanding of the subject."
