Mrs. Kimberlin's Reflection of Lesson

Leanne is new to Mt. Juliet High School and to teaching.  She just completed her first year of teaching following a career in business administration and management.  She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in business education from Middle Tennessee State University and has completed several classes towards a masters degree.  Some of her previous experience includes management in a post-secondary trade school, and most recently, human resource relations for a multi-national manufacturing company.  Leanne’s belief in technology integration is strong, she believes that:

“Technology is the primary focus in my classes, so I approach integration from an opposite point of view.  I try to bring other academic areas into the technology classroom.  I try to use every attempt to stress the importance of using technology as a tool and aid to accent the knowledge and skills learned in other classes.  I believe that technology is a communication and information tool vital to each and every student, regardless of his or her chosen career path.  In technology classes, students learn to apply both the technology and academic learning into real world situations.”
