About The Principal
Mr. Miller is in his 13th year at M.A.P. Academy. He earned his Master's
Degree at Trevecca Nazarene University in 1997. He has been in education
for 25 years. He is a graduate of Lebanon High School and has been a part
of the Wilson County School System for the last 17 years.
Serves as the following:
1. He is the President of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee
Alternative Educators Association.
2. Past President of the Teen Court Board of Wilson County.
Mr. Miller has gained certification in the following areas:
1. WhyTry (course used at MAP to help redirect students lives)
2. 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens (course used at MAP to help promote
better life habits.)
3. Leadership Wilson
4. Intel to Teach Technology Training (for future use at MAP)
5. Handle With Care training specifically for MAP Academy.
Mr. Miller has served and continues to serve as a volunteer for the past 10
years as a Summer League Baseball Coach in Lebanon.
Mr. Miller is a High School Basketball Official in his spare time.
Mr. Miller has a wife, Christy and three children.
Mr. Miller's favorite hobbies include, Reading, Golf, Fishing and Baseball!!!
