Mr. Gwaltney has been an educator since 1972 and formerly was a teacher, coach, and assistant principal at Mt. Juliet High School prior to becoming the principal at MJMS in 2001.  He holds a Bachelors in Secondary Education and a Masters in Educational Administration.

Mr. Eskew has been an educator since 1978 and formerly was a teacher and coach at Mt. Juliet Junior High School (now West Wilson Middle School) prior to becoming an assistant principal at MJMS in 2001.  He holds a Bachelors in Secondary Education and a Masters in Educational Administration.

Mr. Deckard has been an educator since 1997.  He formerly taught social studies at MJMS prior to becoming an assistant principal at MJMS in 2008.  He holds a Bachelors in Secondary Education and a Masters in Educational Administration.
 

He is married to his wife April and they have two boys, Noah and Will.  His hobbies include playing bass guitar, reading, and listening to music.
