Mrs. Kathy Stivender, Principal Mrs. Stivender was appointed principal for the 2008-2009 school year upon the retirement of our former principal. Mrs. Stivender served as Stoner Creek’s Assistant Principal for ten years and was a teacher for many years prior to that.
Mrs. Stivender says, “I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a fine group of educators into the future. Our faculty and staff work together as a team to ensure the success of our students.”
Mrs. Stivender is married to a wonderful man, Jim. They have two children , Knight & Andy, and one granddaughter, Lily.

Mr. Nick Nance, Assistant Principal Mr. Nance was appointed Assistant Principal when our former Assistant, Mrs. Kathy Stivender, assumed the position of Principal at Stoner Creek. Mr. Nance has served as a teacher at Stoner Creek for nine years. He has also taught in the Rutherford & Williamson County school systems. Mr. Nance has taught first, second, third, and fourth grades. He has a broad-based understanding of curriculum and is excited about the upcoming school year.
Mr. Nance says, “I am looking forward to the many ways we will inspire the minds of our students. It is my pleasure to serve the faculty, staff, students, parents, and community of Stoner Creek.”
