Children in second through fifth grade at Stoner Creek have access to this program. There are quizzes and games that reinforce the curriculum standards taught in the classroom. Children can simply log on and use the program from any networked computer. |

Biz Town gives fifth graders the opportunity to put economics, math, government, and social studies concepts in a real life simulation. It is a hands-on learning program that combines an eight-week classroom curriculum with a state-of-the art interactive government and free enterprise laboratory. The Biz Town experience helps students learn and apply rigorous academic standards in math, civics, social studies.*

Homework Hotline
Homework Hotline provides free one-on-one academic assistance by phone to students or their parents. The program is available in five languages, 4:00 - 8:00 pm, Monday -Thursday. It's all free, thanks to Dell, TriStar Health System, Bridgestone Firestone Trust Fund, AT&T, Sonic Drive-ins and the Metro Nashville Public Schools. The teachers answering the phones at Homework Hotline have all the currently adopted textbooks in the county. The numbers are: 298-6636 or 1-888-868-5777 |
