Ashley is eight years old and a 3rd grader here at Stoner Creek.  Her proud parents are Chad and Shelly.  She, like Delaney, was born in August.

Ashley is an avid reader and has a great sense of humor.  She just finished her first Harry Potter book, and also likes books that are on the humorous/lighter side.

Ashley loves going to the beach on summer vacation, and really enjoys camping with her family during the fall months.  When camping, she likes to hike, find new trails, collect leaves, and make smores.

Ashley is involved in many extra curricular activities including running club, gymnastics, softball, and basketball.  But she loves swimming the most.  She is also in her local girl scout troop, and enjoys her scouting meetings and activities very much. She has a lot of fun playing with her siblings, twin sister Erin and brother Brett, also SCE students.

Ashley has many favorites.  When she sits down to lunch or dinner, her hopes are for Mexican food (specifically burritos and tacos).  Her favorite sports team is the Boston Red Sox.  When she travels, she could go anywhere; however, her favorite place to visit is the beach in Destin, Florida.  Although Ashley has several hobbies, she likes collecting webkinz and riding her bike the best.  She enjoys listening to music and her favorite artist is Taylor Swift.

Ashley has many accomplishments.  She was the spelling bee winner for the 2nd grade, made principal’s list this past nine weeks, and attended the Young Author’s Conference last year.

Ashley wanted to be in drama because she thought it would be fun.  She desires to learn new things and enjoys hanging out with her friends.  She also likes to sing.  Ashley is a very sweet young lady and we are honored to have her as a part of Stoner Creek’s Drama Team.

Delaney Brooke Smotherman is a third grader in Ms. Abernathy’s classroom.  She was born in the hot summer month of August.  Delaney is eight years old.  Bobby & Lori are her proud parents.  Delaney also has a sister in the first grade, Devon.

Delaney enjoys a good movie.  In fact, her favorite movie is “The Wild Stallion.”  She also enjoys a good book.  Being an avid reader, she can ready almost anything.  Shakespeare’s Secret is her favorite book.

When it comes to food, the sky is the limit!  But, she confesses that hot dogs & chocolate cake make her stomach especially happy.

Delaney loves being at home, but likes to get away every know and then.  When she does travel, she really likes to visit her nana’s, her grandmother Booie, the beach, or her cousins Charlie & Gabe.

Delaney has many hobbies—she loves to ride bikes, play basketball, softball, and tennis.  Reading and playing the piano are other favorites.   Delaney is very creative and enjoys writing stories.  Of all these things, she likes to play pranks the best.

When asked why she wanted to be in drama, she said she auditioned because she likes to sing, drama looked like fun, and because she thought it was cool.

Delaney is a light-hearted young lady who is loved by everyone here at Stoner Creek.  We are honored to have her as a part of our Drama Team.

Emma is a third grader in Ms. Abernathy’s homeroom class.  Her proud parents are Kevin & Stephanie.  She has an older brother, Daniel and a younger brother, Jackson.  Both are students here at Stoner Creek like Emma.  She is eight years old.  Her birthday is in the cool, fall month of November.  In fact, she will be nine years old in two short weeks!!

Emma is a bright young lady.  This is evident through the fact that she loves to read.  She likes lots of different books.  When it comes to her all time favorite, she chose Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.

Like most kids her age, she enjoys a good movie.  Of all the movies she likes, she calls “The Bee Movie” her favorite

Emma loves to eat.  She is not a picky eater; however she has several favorites.  She enjoys eating spaghetti, lasagna, chicken pot pie, mac ‘n’ cheese, mashed potatoes, and baked potatoes..

Emma loves to travel.  She’s been to Japan, Colorado, Florida, West Virginia, North Carolina, and other places.  Of all the places she has traveled, she says Walt Disney World is her favorite.  Emma has even been to Walt Disney World in Tokyo, Japan!!

Emma like going to Church.  She goes to Mount Juliet Church of Christ.  She has many friends there and her family is there as well.

Emma has many hobbies when not at school or Church.  She enjoy bike riding, watching television, board-games, watching a good movie, playing with her friends in the neighborhood, and many other fun kid-filled things.  She is also quite the athlete playing such sports as softball and basketball.

Emma says she wanted to be a part of the SCE Drama Team because she did it last year and knew she’d have another awesome time this year.  She has also seen the movie “Beauty and the Beast” and knew she’d enjoy being a part of the play production.  Her most favorite reason for wanting to be in Drama is that Ms. Boyd is the best director and she enjoys working with her.

Emma is a very talented, fun-loving child and we enjoy having her as a part of Drama Team
