Our five field technicians service around 6000 Windows and Mac desktop and laptop computers. They also support and troubleshoot printers, desktop applications, and deploy software to computer labs.
Our network engineer manages all application and file servers, email servers, virtual server environment, spam and content filter servers, network switches, firewall and other security appliances, SAN fabric, and also is the webmaster for the district’s website.
Our database specialist manages the student management system, troubleshoots teacher gradebooks, manages and maintains EIS reporting and SIF integration, assists users by conducting training sessions, and manages all front end and back end servers for the student management system.
Our data analyst maintains Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure for user accounts and email addresses with Microsoft Exchange Server, manages financing and purchasing and oversees purchase orders for the department and for individual school technology equipment, maintains inventory system and tracks changes as reported by technicians, and prepares and files required E-rate paperwork for federal telecommunications funding.
Our technology director assists the district administrative staff in matters related to technology, supervises and evaluates computer technicians using the approved school system format, makes financial recommendations to the supervisor of finance, resolves complex configuration and administration issues for related systems, and develops daily operations cycles.
