Our Mission Statement

Tuckers Crossroads School is a community of learners whose mission is to provide child centered, challenging educational programs in an environment of honesty, integrity, respect, and responsibility.

Our Beliefs

1. Learning is a collective effort of teachers, administrators, staff, students, parents, families and community involvement.

2. Students must be individually challenged using a variety of strategies to reach their maximum potential.

3. A wide variety of formal and informal assessments should be used in order to insure the academic success of each learner.

4. Good decision-making must be based on a variety of appropriate analyzed data.

5. All educational policies should be developed with the best interest of the child in mind.

6. Students and staff must feel safe and comfortable enough to take risks in order to enhance their learning experiences.
