To the 2010 WCHS graduates and their parents or guardians:

Congratulations!  The following is important information concerning graduation.  The graduation ceremony for the class of 2010 will be at Curb Event Center on the campus of Belmont University in Nashville on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.  Seniors must inform Mrs. Nored in the Library if they do not wish to participate. 

Every senior who participates in the graduation ceremony must:  

• Meet the course requirements of the state of Tennessee and the Wilson County Board of Education--see student agenda or contact the Guidance Department, 453-4600, Ext. 3010.
• Have a WCHS cap, gown, tassel, diploma, and diploma cover.  These items are included in the senior fee.  Students must pay the senior fee of $65 no later than March 5, 2010 in cash, money order, or check to Mrs. Nored in the Library.   Students may make two payments if it is more convenient.  The senior fee also covers rental of Curb Event Center.  Waiver students can use their fee waiver to cover part of their senior fee if they have not already used it this school year, but they must notify Mrs. Nored of that need.  The fee waiver is $45 per school year, so the student would be responsible for $20. 
• Be present and on time at the mandatory practice or the student will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
• Pay all other obligations (library fines, fundraisers, or textbook charges) before the graduation rehearsal.

Please direct cap and gown questions to Mrs. Nored in the Library (Extension 3104).  Any other questions can be directed to Ms. Kail (Extension 3160) or Mrs. Brady (Extension 3166).  Additional information for seniors concerning important dates, directions to the graduation site, or other news for seniors can be found on the WCHS website.

Class of 2010 Graduation Schedule

• Graduation practice:  12 noon. Saturday, May 29.  Graduation ceremony: 2:00 p.m. May 29.  Seniors need to arrive at Belmont Curb Event Center by 12 noon with their caps and gowns.
