| Leesa Hubbard is a special education resource teacher at Wilson Central. She earned a master’s degree in education from Vanderbilt University. She is an aerospace enthusiast and uses aerospace topics to motivate students of all ages and abilities. During the 2002-2003 school year, Mrs. Hubbard was awarded the Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellowship, and worked at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC. In her free time she enjoys backpacking with her husband. Her cat, Gus Grissom, is named after one of the original Mercury seven astronauts. |
