Manga Club
Sponsor: Ann Nored
The purpose of the Anime & Manga Club is to promote the various aspects of Japanese media, and to provide a forum for the discussion and appreciation thereof. We have approximately 27 active members. Club meetings consist of occasionally viewing anime movies, discussing manga series, and the group is presently writing and illustrating a manga book. Manga is the Japanese word for comics and print cartoons. Outside of Japan, it usually refers specifically to Japanese comics. Popular manga series are often adapted into anime movies once a market interest has been established. Our library purchases manga books, but only ones that have acceptable ratings. Manga books have a rating on the front or back cover of the book.
Manga Club meets every Monday after school 3:30-4:30pm in the library.
