Welcome to Watertown Elementary School where I am the Assistant Principal. My roots are deep in education. I am originally from Shelbyville, Illinois and received my Associates Degree of Science from LakeLand Jr. College in Mattoon, Illinois and my Bachelors of Arts degree in Education and Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Easter Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. I taught nine years as a Work Study Coordinator for special needs high school students at Sullivan High School. My family and I moved to Watertown in 1987. I became the special education teacher at Watertown High School. During this time I received my Masters of Education from Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee and my Educational Specialist Degree from Tennessee Technological University in Cookville, Tennessee.

My husband, Terry and I have been married for 35 years. We have two sons, Christopher and Craig. Education is important to my family. My mother would always tell me that: "They can take away your car, they can take away your house, but they can never take away your education."

Your child's education will be my top priority so that they will become successful and productive members of society.
