Bethany Wilson, Principal

Mrs. Wilson has worked for the district since 2010, when she was hired to be an English teacher at Wilson Central High School.  In 2015, Wilson was selected to be an assistant principal at West Wilson Middle School. Prior to coming to Wilson County, Wilson served as an English teacher for Franklin Road Academy and Metro Nashville Public Schools, where she held the position of International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme Coordinator at Hunters Lane High School. Mrs. Wilson is a 2017 graduate of the Governor’s Academy for School Leadership and a 2014 graduate of the Masters of Educational Leadership Program at Lipscomb University. She also holds a B.A. in English Education from Trevecca Nazarene University.

Kelly Vallas, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Vallas has worked for the district since 2008, when she was hired to be a Biology teacher.  She taught Biology at both Lebanon High School and Wilson Central High School prior to being selected as an assistant principal at Mt. Juliet Middle School in 2015.  Prior to coming to Wilson County Schools, Mrs. Vallas worked with student athletes at the University of Southern Mississippi in the NCAA Academic Compliance Department.  She holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences and an M.S. in Science Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, along with an Ed.S. in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Tech University.

Jordan Simpkins, Assistant Principal

Mr. Simpkins has worked for Wilson County Schools since 2013 at Wilson Central High School.  While there, he taught English, World History, and Psychology. Prior to teaching at Central, he taught US History and Language Arts in Metro Nashville Public Schools at Bailey STEM Magnet Middle School.  Mr. Simpkins has also been a coach of soccer and track and field, as well as a sponsor of Student Council and numerous clubs.  He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Samford University, a Masters in Education from Trevecca, and an Ed.S. from Union University where he is also a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership.
