Families,Here is a great way you can get involved, make friends and have fun with your child, at EPE. On the evening of Thursday, February 9th we need volunteers to support our Celebration of Cultures Literacy Night. Every student K-5 will be displaying their art work and participating in a musical performance. In addition, there will be booths run by EPE community members sharing their home culture, storytelling, and a book give away. All of this requires many hands. If you are able to help set up, decorate, work at a station during the event, or help with clean-up WE NEED YOU! Hello Patriot Families!EPE is preparing for our Cultural Fair on Thursday, February 9th 6:00 - 7:30pm. This will be a time to celebrate our diverse community. We would like to invite you to help us prepare for this event. We will be having an informational/planning meeting on Thursday, January 12th. The morning session will take place at 7:30am. The evening session will be at 5:00pm. Childcare will be provided during the five o'clock session. You only need to join one session. If you are not able to come to either of these sessions, but would like to participate just contact Mrs. Emily Morrison at morrisone@wcschools.com for more information.

Wilson County Schools is required to update the Elementary & Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Public Plan every six months through September 30, 2023. WCS seeks public input on the plan and any revisions must account for this input. Click the link above for more information and to access the survey.

PUBLIC NOTICE: WCBOE Ethics Committee Meeting
The Wilson County Board of Education Ethics Committee will hold a meeting on February 9, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. at the Wilson County BOE Administrative Training Complex, 415 Harding Drive, Lebanon, TN 37087 to discuss publicly the complaints that have been filed.

Open Enrollment 2023-2024 Information
We will begin accepting open enrollment request forms for 2023-2024 on February 1st, 2023. The open enrollment process will conclude on March 2nd, 2023. As always, if the Open Enrollment Transfer request is granted, bus service will not be provided. Parents/guardians will be responsible for transporting their child to and from school each day. Christine Miller Named Federal Programs Supervisor
We're excited to announce that Mrs. Christine Miller has been named as the district's Federal Programs Supervisor. She's been with Wilson County Schools since 1998 and has served in a variety of roles including most recently as principal of Springdale Elementary. A longtime educator and dedicated administrator, her expertise in understanding administrative, teacher and student needs spans across 27 years overall.

Beverly Sharpe Named Wilson County Schools Principal of the Year 2022
We’re excited to announce that Mt. Juliet High School Principal Mrs. Beverly Sharpe has been named as the district’s “2022 Principal of the Year!” If you know Mrs. Sharpe, then you already know what an incredible person she is! She’s such an impactful and caring administrator, and has been for several years. Please help us in congratulating her!

Amy Gullion has been named as the district’s Elementary Instructional Supervisor
We are very excited to announce that Mrs. Amy Gullion has been named as the district’s Elementary Instructional Supervisor. Mrs. Gullion is in her 18th year overall in education, and prior to this role, she served as the district’s Federal Programs Supervisor. Throughout her vast and experienced career she has also been an elementary teacher, instructional coach and a K-12 literacy consultant with the State.

Bryan Adams Named as the New Deputy Director of Student Services
Wilson County Schools is very pleased to announce that Mr. Bryan Adams has been named as the new Deputy Director of Student Services. He previously held the position of WCS Elementary Supervisor, and prior to that he served as principal for five years at W.A. Wright Elementary.

Dr. Alexandra Juneau Named West Elementary School Principal
Wilson County Schools is also very pleased to announce that Dr. Alexandra Juneau, who was serving as West Elementary Interim Principal at the start of this school year has now been named as West Elementary Principal.
