EPE Tie Dye Dash Fundraiser
We are excited to announce EPE's first ever tie-dye dash fundraiser on Friday, April 23! The students will be given a free white shirt and will race around the track while volunteers mist them with color. The more you run, the more colorful you will become!
Our goal is for each grade to raise enough money to purchase outdoor picnic tables to be used for outdoor classes and special lunches. We also have great prizes for our top earning student, class, and grade.
Your child received an envelope to collect donations for the run. You may also donate online here.

Kindergarten Registration for 2021-2022 School Year
We are excited about our new Kindergarten students for the 21-22 school year! You should know that in order to enroll in Kindergarten this fall your child must be 5 years old on or before August 15. There will not be in-person registration this year. You will need to register your student online as much as possible.
Click on this link to go to the main Wilson County Schools webpage and begin the registration process. Here you will fill out a NSOE (New Student Online Enrollment). If you already have a child in Wilson County Schools you can login to Skyward Family Access and add your new student by filling out the NSOE. Please be sure to scan the required documents in to Skyward as mentioned below. If you are unable to scan the documents you can email them to email@example.com.
The required documents to register are as follows:
State Certified Birth certificate
TN Immunization certificate with current physical exam
Two (2) Proofs of Residence (cell phone bills are NOT accepted)
*Also bring a photo id of parent/legal guardian & custody papers if applicable. Custody papers must be signed by a Judge.
IMPORTANT: After July 8 (& before school starts Aug. 5) parents will need to return to Skyward and fill out the new forms that have been added for all returning students for the 21-22 school year.
Unsure where you go to school? You can check your address and make sure you are zoned for EPE by going to www.wcschools.com and clicking on “Transportation.”
Parents or guardians who use a fraudulent address for enrollment may be subject to restitution to the school district or other costs or fees under Tennessee Law (TCA § 49-6-3003).
EPE 2nd Graders Learn about Sound Waves
EPE students love learning about science! Second graders used tools such as tuning forks, bells, and a xylophone to understand that sound travels in waves. They recorded what they saw, heard, and felt. They loved seeing the tuning fork vibrate the water out of the cup!
It's time for another "Academic Minute!"
This week Wiley talks about the "Imagination Station STEM Bus" and the big plans it has for activities beginning in August of this year! It's never too early too get excited about STEM and Wiley is all in - your child will be too after you watch this!
