GHHS and MJMS Student Councils are hosting a community event to honor the memory of Ambria McGregor and raise money to help cover medical expenses and support her family. This event is a CO-ED 4v4 Volleyball Tournament for ages 12-18. We will split the teams into divisions based on ages once we see how many teams have registered within the age brackets. Your teams can have up to 6 players, but only 4 will play at a time.
There cannot be more than 3 High School Volleyball players from the same school on the same team per TSSAA rules.
The $25 per player registration fee will also cover a team uniform shirt to wear the day of the tournament.
There will be a $5 gate for spectators. There will also be a link to pre-order a tournament shirt. (link to purchase this coming later)
There will be concessions and food trucks on campus that day also.
All proceeds will go to the McGregor family.

MJMS Families,Over the past year, we have had increasing concerns regarding the safety of students at dismissal each day at theMJMS campus. Please see the concerns from bothschools, MJPD, SROs, neighboring businesses, and private property owners:• Students are cutting between cars and crossing busy roads on Woodridge, Charlie Daniels, and Mt. Juliet Road to be picked up in various places and locations.• Students are running to be picked up in non-authorized areas on campus without supervision.• Cars are illegally using private property, stopping on the road and impeding traffic, and blatantly disregarding school dismissal policies, all at the cost of student safety.Administration for MJMS and WWMS are working in cooperation with the MJPD and our SROs to enforce the school’s traffic pattern to ensure our students are kept safe. Beginning Monday, January 23, 2023, there will be an increase in the presence of law enforcement to help enforce the traffic pattern. The MJPD will be issuing citations and redirecting families to support our student pick-up procedures. Students will not be allowed to cross Woodridge at all (any legitimate walkers will use the sidewalk to the subdivision). Students will not be allowed to dismiss and walk to the front of the school (all pickup is in the back of the school), and only students living in Willow Creek will be allowed to exit on foot via Charlie Daniels Parkway.Student safety is our top priority, and we need your cooperation. Please don’t put students’ lives in danger just to save a few minutes. Please review the traffic pattern pictured below.
