Head Coach- Kristi Brooks
My name is Kristi Brooks. I am a wife, mother, daughter, aunt, Christian. I have been married to Thomas Brooks for 15 years and we have two children. Hannah is in sixth grade and Noah will be in fifth grade. I love being outdoors hiking, swimming, and paddle boading. I also love to run with people and my dog Stormy, I have been coaching cross country for six years at Southside. I ran cross country at Donelson Christian Academy and Cumberland University. Teaching is my full-time job. I taught at Southside in 2003-2006. Next year, I will be teaching at Mt. Juliet Christian. In 2014, I had the opportunity to partner with Tennessee State Parks to help start Wilson County Running Club. This is a free program offered to all families. We run at Cedars of Lebanon and attend races at local parks. I enjoy coaching cross country and the running club. My goal for the team is teach runners how they can make this sport apart of their lives for a life-time. All you need is a good pair of running shoes- no gym, no expensive clothes, no ball, is needed. This sport changed my life. Running is a time you can escape from the pressures of the world and enjoy God's beauty outdoors. If you would like more information about cross country or the running club. Please call the school. I would love to have you on the team.
