Brooke is a therapist specializing in individual and group therapy for adults and adolescents, and maintains a private practice in Mt. Juliet, TN.
Brooke’s vision for counseling is to, “foster an environment that promotes the client’s exploration of resolutions to life’s problems.”  Brooke understands that therapy can be a difficult, yet rewarding process.  Brooke believes that the real work of therapy must be done by the client and works collaboratively with the client to identify therapy goals and the “roadmap” to the achievement of those goals. Because Brooke believes that each client presents unique problems, she uses an integrative approach to therapy that draws mainly from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

RIP is a program to help parents/guardians who have a young child ages 2-5 with behavioral struggles. Most who come are pretty serious, but do not have to be.  They will accept almost any kind of behavior including aggression, destruction, major tantrums, and also will accept children on the autism spectrum. RIP is a free program, and children and a parent or legal guardian must attend with the child. The entire program takes 4-6 months, twice a week for 2 hours a session. There are day, afternoon and evening times, depending on location. They teach a core program of positive reinforcement/ behavior modification, and also target specific behaviors for each child. There are three locations in our area- Gallatin, Nashville/Green Hills area, and Murfreesboro.
