Graduation Requirements

  • Total credits required for graduation: 26 credits including the following:

    • Math: 4 credits  - Including Algebra I, II, Geometry and a fourth higher level math course (Students must be enrolled in a mathematics course each school year.)
    • English: 4 credits
    • Science: 3 credits - Including Biology, Chemistry or Physics, and a third lab course
    • Social Studies: 4 courses/3 credits - World History and Geography or AP Human Geography, U.S. History and Geography, Economics, and U.S. Government and Civics
    • Wellness: 1 credit
    • Physical Education: 1 course/.5 credit
    • Personal Finance: 1 course/.5 credit
    • World Language: 2 credits
    • Fine Arts: 1 credit
    • Elective Focus: 3 credits [2 credits (9th, 10th) 1 credit (11th, 12th)] - Three credits must be earned in one of the programs of study listed below.  
    • These credits are in addition to the required credits for graduation.
      • Math and Science
      • Humanities/Fine Arts
      • Career & Technical Education (CTE)-Agriculture, Business, Criminal Justice, Health Science, STEM
      • JROTC (In order to receive an elective focus in JROTC, students must complete 4 credits of JROTC.
      • Advanced Placement
