Dear Partner(s) in Education,

Authors often write books for young adults with mature topics. In our library, these books are located in the Young Adult section of the library and marked with a YA sticker on the spine of the book.  Students must be in grades 6-8 and have signed permission to check out from this section.

Because not all books in our library collection are suitable for all students, it is important to communicate with your child what is and is not acceptable in regards to the content of a book.
