Favorite Book Character Dress Up Day

Yearbook Cover Competition
EPE is holding our first ever yearbook cover contest! Use whatever materials you have at home to respond to the prompt “What EPE means to me” through an artwork. Encourage your artists to utilize the Studio Habits of Mind we have learned about in art class to brainstorm their best idea. If your child needs paper please have them stop by the art room to grab a piece of high quality art paper from Mrs. Streit in order to do their very best work! If your student would like to submit a digital art entry (created on the computer or using a tablet) please send a high resolution copy to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Submissions will be due Wednesday, November 17, 2021 and judging will happen the following Thursday and Friday before Thanksgiving break. We will be selecting a front cover, back cover, as well as incorporating additional student artwork throughout the yearbook.
Free and Reduced Meal Application 2021 - 2022
The USDA announced that free lunches would continue to be served to ALL students once again for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year.
With that assistance already in place, our District is still seeking to obtain completed applications from families who would likely apply and qualify for free/reduced priced meals. It is important to receive these applications in order to attain the maximum amount of federal assistance for other programs (outside of free meals) that greatly benefit our students and families.
Some examples of additional programs that your family may benefit from if you qualify for free or reduced priced meals:
- School/classroom fees waived
- Discounts for internet services
- P-EBT cards
- Immediate acceptance into summer learning programs
- Immediate acceptance into before and after school tutoring services
- And much more!
For more information about how to apply please visit Wilson County School's Free & Reduced Meal Application 2021-2022 page.

What's Up Wilson!
Due to a continuous downward trend in COVID-19 cases, the Board of Education has approved a recommendation from Director of Schools, Mr. Jeff Luttrell that our district’s mask/face covering status become OPTIONAL for all students and staff inside all school buildings. The BOE approved this recommendation with a 5-2 vote. Prior to the November 3 motion and voting, our district had a required mask/face covering status, with opt-out form availability. With the most recent approval, no additional opt-out forms are required to be submitted via Skyward. The optional mask/face covering status is effective immediately, and will be in place starting with our school day on Thursday, November 4th.
The Wilson County Board of Education will hold a Policy Advisory Committee meeting on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria, at the Wilson County BOE Administrative & Training Complex, 415 Harding Drive, Lebanon TN 37087.
