  • 2023-2024 Pepsi-Cola Scholarship application

    Below is the link to the 2023-2024 Pepsi-Cola Scholarship application. The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize one senior from each of our high schools; GHHS, LHS, MJHS, WTHS, WCHS, and VLA.  If an application is not received from each of the schools the scholarship will be awarded to a senior from one of the other high schools, until all 6 scholarships are awarded.  Please encourage your students to apply.

    The deadline to complete the online application is noon Monday, April 15, 2024.  Late submissions will not be accepted.

    Who is the scholarship for?

    • Applicants must have one of the following documentation or immigration statuses: 
      • Undocumented, foreign-born people who do not possess a valid visa or other recognized immigration documentation in the United States
      • Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
      • U-1 visa
      • Pending Asylum case open with USCIS
      • Pending Refugee status
      • DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals)
    • Applicants must have high financial need.
    • Applicants can be high school seniors, recent high school graduates, current college/community college students, or obtained a GED (General Education Development) certificate from a United States Program.
    • Applicants must live in the United States for at least four (4) years before applying for the Golden Door Scholarship.
    • For high school seniors, applicants must have an unweighted high school GPA of 3.2.
    • For college transfers, applicants must have a college GPA of 3.0 and a high school GPA of 3.2 or a GED.
    • Please note that US citizens and permanent residents are NOT eligible for the Golden Door Scholarship.

    Applications are considered on a rolling basis, so applying early is helpful.

    For students that are planning to attend TN Tech University in Cookeville, TN, the scholarship application window opens on August 1st and closes December 15th. Tennessee Tech uses one single application submitted through Scholarweb for the awarding of over 600 scholarship opportunities.  One of these opportunities is specific for a student from Lebanon High School, the Harper Family Scholarship.
