Interpreter Services

To ensure enrollment of all students and subgroups (ex. McKinney Vento, Foster Students, Students in the care of the Department of Children’s Services, and Undocumented Students, etc.) Wilson County Schools provide online and in-person enrollment options throughout the school year and over the summer.

Our schools serve over 3,200 bilingual  students and their families. The Welcome Center is dedicated to helping  families with the transition into school. Often it can be a challenge but we offer help with many needs including student registration, transcript review, orientation, obtaining school documents,  and provide information for adult English classes

Registrars have access to Language Line which can assist families in more than 200 languages. WCS also provides a full-time Spanish interpreter and a full-time Arabic interpreter available to assist with enrollment.

If there are registration concerns please contact your zoned schools Registrar and/or contact Mr. Stan Moss at 615-453-7281 or mosss@wcschools.com.

Families who need a student tested for Limited English Proficiency can make an appointment by calling 615-453-4655.
