    Band- Mr.Brown

    We strive to become better through the pursuit of musical excellence. "Better today than yesterday.....Better tomorrow than today." There is no fee for band, however, students will choose to rent an instrument from the local music company for class. If a student is unable to afford the rental, an instrument will be provided if at all possible.

    Choir- Mrs.Sexton  

    To enrich the students' understanding of music and encourage vocal development. We practice here at school during the regular school day. Concert dates to be announced. I do request a $10.00 donation. 

    Drama- Mrs.Sexton

    Our drama program is a place for various levels of talent and stage confidence. The stage is a place where students can excel artistically whether in set design and construction or dramatically as they develop characters on stage. Our drama club members collaborate together as cast and crew to produce a hard earned, successful production during the fall and spring semesters. A $25.00 fee is required to purchase the scripts and tshirts. Drama is available to students in grades 5-8.

    FCA- Mrs.Fryer

    FCA provides its members with the opportunity and challenge to serve Jesus Christ in their relationship here at school. Middle school (6-8) FCA meets every Wednesday morning at 6:45 in the library. Elementary FCA (K-5) meets every Thursday morning at 6:45 in the Library.

    Jr. Beta Club- Ms.Kamer and Ms.Miller

    Jr. Beta Club is a division of the National Beta Club which is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization of America. Beta Club recognizes students who not only achieve academically but also demonstrate a high moral and ethical character with an admirable attitude and gives them opportunities in leadership and service. 6th-8th grade students who meet the qualifications may participate. The National Beta Convention requires a $45 membership fee to join with a t-shirt included. Students must apply, receive at least 3 favorable teacher recommendations and meet the membership qualifications before being accepted into the club. Maintenance of a “B” average is necessary to remain in the club, and good behavior and character are expected.

    Student Council-Ms.Bozeman and Mrs.Sampson

    Student Council is a group of students that plan, prepare, organize and participate in student socials, encouraging other students to participate and build rapport among peers. We plan activities throughout the year to show pride and respect for the school, students and staff. We meet once a month after school. The students will need to maintain a “C” average to stay in student council. There is a $10.00 fee for the tshirts.

    Yearbook-Mrs.Watson and Mrs.Johnson

    Yearbook staff take pictures and help design pages to commemorate the school year. The yearbook serves as a record of memories and a historical document of our school year. Yearbook meetings occur during the school day. There is a $15.00 fee for a tshirt to wear on picture day.
