4-H is an informal, learn-by-doing educational program for youth, grades 4-12, from all backgrounds. 4-H is designed to help youth develop into responsible, self-directed, productive citizens of the world through a wide range of activities.
Why be a part of 4-H? Develop leadership and citizenship abilities, public speaking and communication skills, prepare yourself for life and to have FUN!

Best Buddies
Builds friendships between people with and without IDD, offering social mentoring while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion. There is an application process to be part of this club.

BETA

BETA Club
BETA club is by invitation only. Teachers recommend students who show character, leadership, a good work ethic, and are service-minded.
The Junior Beta Club at Mt. Juliet Middle School is designed to recognize academically excellent students and work on their leadership and service skills. Students have to make A's or B's first two-quarters of 6th or 7th grade. Teachers nominate their students that best show citizenship, leadership, and enthusiasm. In January, we invite these students to join Beta. They are then members of the club for the rest of their years at MJMS as long as they stay active and participate, continue to do well in school, and have proper behavior.
Meeting Time: The 1st and 3rd quarter Tuesday of each month from 3:30-4:30 PM in the Library

Black & Gold Choir

Black and Gold Choir
Black & Gold choir is Mt. Juliet Middle School's audition-only choir for 7th and 8th grade singers. This choir has consistently received SUPERIOR ratings in performance and sight-reading at the MTVA Choral Festival, SUPERIOR ratings for performance at the MTVA Solo and Ensemble Festival, and 1st Place SUPERIOR ratings in performance at the Music in the Parks Festival at Dolly Wood.
In the Spring of 2017, this choir earned a perfect 12 out of 12 SUPERIOR ratings.
Auditions for this group are held at the end of each school year.

Builders Club
Builders Club is an international student-led organization providing members with opportunities to perform service, build character and develop leadership. Members learn to work together and develop servant-leaders skills as they serve their school and community. Builders Club is supported by Kiwanis International.

Auditions are held at the end of each semester for the following semester. Shows are always Broadway or Disney musicals that are fun and exciting. There are 75-100 kids who perform and work shows while bonding as a family.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Fellowship of Christian Athletes is for any student who is interested in having a time of fellowship with their peers. FCA meetings are time well spent! Each meeting consists of worship music, a Biblical lesson through guest speakers, skits, or testimonies, followed by a time of prayer!
FCA also takes pride in doing community outreach projects by providing for families in need during the holidays.

First Priority is a student-led, Faith-based club where students come together to impact our campus with the love of God. Everyone is welcome and everyone is loved. We strive our best to love as God intends and sharing His word. A typical meeting consists of praying, a message, and music.

MJMS and The TN Army National Guard host monthly meetings to bring together students that have an immediate family member serving in the military. This club is designed to help students and/or teachers learn the basics of American Sign Language while getting a glimpse into Deaf Culture. There are times this club has opportunities to perform publically. For example, members perform the National Anthem each year on Veteran's Day.

HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE.
