Christine Miller, Principal

Christine Miller’s teaching career began in Illinois in 1995. She and her family moved to Tennessee where she continued her teaching career in Wilson County in 1998. She was a Watertown Purple Tiger teaching 6th-8th grade (11 years), a West Wilson Wildcat as a 6th grade assistant principal (4 years), a Stoner Creek bobcat as principal (4 years), and in 2017, became a Panther as principal at Springdale Elementary. 

Throughout her career, she has earned the following honors:

  • Teacher of the Year at Watertown Elementary
  • Wilson County Teacher Mentor
  • Assistant Principal Mentor, Principal Mentor
  • Mentor for the Governor’s Academy of School Leaders
  • Currently a principal mentor for the Wilson County Pipeline for Aspiring Administrators

She has been married for 23 years to her college sweetheart and has two sons that are attending college. Her youngest is beginning his college career at ETSU studying computer science while also involved in track and field,  and her oldest is a junior at King University studying education while also involved in track and field.  She and her family are proud to be members of Wilson County.
