I am proud to be the Assistant Principal at W.A. Wright Elementary!

I grew up in the beautiful East Tennessee mountains, so it was natural for me to begin my teacher training at East Tennessee State University. There I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Next, I went on to pursue a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Bethel University. I taught 2nd grade in Mississippi and 1st and 3rd grades in Clarksville, Tennessee before becoming an Instructional Coach. I began my Wilson County career as the Instructional/Title I Coach at W.A. Wright.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Scott. We live in Nashville and enjoy Nashville Soccer Club games, rock concerts, being outside, and trying out new restaurants. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with family, and snuggling with my two cats, Winnie and Sunny.
