Wilson County Schools is presenting a 2019 Story Maker Summer Camp for all incoming 6th-8th grade Wilson County students.
This immersive learning experience teaches students how to write, develop, storyboard, direct, perform, and edit powerful animated stories that can be shared with the world.
Camp Literacy and Technology Skills:
- Write a Wizard of Oz script
- Write monologue
- Record, animate, and produce monologue
- Assess and share constructive feedback
- Produce dialogue between characters
- Utilize multiple cameras to add feeling and interest to dialogue
- Produce a scene from the WonderGrove Wizard of Oz

If you have a child turning 5 years-old on, or before, August 15th, Kindergarten Registration is just around the corner. It’s time to mark your calendar for some exciting events that are coming up!
Kindergarten Enrollment Begins
Starting March 4th, parents of incoming Kindergarten students are encouraged to set up an online account, and begin the enrollment process by visiting:
NEW STUDENTS TO WILSON COUNTY 2019-2020
Note: If you already have a child attending school in Wilson Co., please use your existing Skyward Family Access account to add your incoming Kindergarten student in the section titled “New Student Online Enrollment”. If you have a Pre-K student currently enrolled in a Wilson County School, your school will instruct you on the procedure to enroll for the kindergarten year.
April 11th-May 16th
Each spring Elementary Schools throughout the district hold an “Open House” for all incoming Kindergarten students. These events provide an excellent opportunity for parents and students to learn more about what will be expected for the upcoming school year.
