If you are interested in being in the MJMS Band in the Fall of 2022 and don't know what instrument you want to play, come out to the MJMS Instrument fitting on Tuesday, May 24th from 4-6PM and we will let you try out different options to see what works best for you.You will park on the Woodbridge Ave. side and Come in the door behind the aluminum can trailer.We will have another fitting at the beginning of the school year if you have a conflict for this date/time. Please do not purchase or rent any instruments until you speak with Mrs. Slater! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Slater at slatehea100@wcschools.com.

Please fill out the form so we can get accurate sizing information for their workout gear. Link: https://link.zixcentral.com/.../6rRAawbA7BG1KF-M8I9C_g...• Players must have a SPORTS physical dated AFTER 4/15 for this season. Anyone not having their physical turned in by June 1 is not able to practice.• TSSAA dead period is the last week of June and the first week of July. We ask you try your best to have summer vacation during this time to limit missed time from practice.• June 1st- this is the beginning of all the things! Parent meeting (details of time and where to come soon), and that is where you will get all the info for the fundraiser, which will start immediately.• Practice will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6pm-8pm. The first practice will be Thursday June 2nd.• Like all things, even football equipment is being affected by shortages. Therefore, we are not able to buy bulk cleats this year and get them in an appropriate time. You will need to purchase these yourself. PUBLIC NOTICE: Special Called Board Meeting
The Wilson County Board of Education will meet in a Special Called Meeting on May 16, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at the Wilson County BOE Administrative & Training Complex, 415 Harding Drive, Lebanon, TN 37087. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss and vote on the budget, and any related budget items, for FY 2022-2023. Additionally, West Wilson Middle School Bid will be discussed and votes may or may not be taken.

MJM’s Tyler Hallstedt Makes History as First in Wilson County Schools to Receive Milken Educator Award and $25,000 Cash Prize
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and Education Commissioner Dr. Penny Schwinn joined Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley to present Hallstedt with the prestigious recognition. The Award includes an unrestricted $25,000 cash prize to be used however he chooses.
