  • REMOTE LEARNING ANNOUNCEMENT:

W.A. Wright Elementary will transition to REMOTE LEARNING beginning on Monday, November 2nd  until Friday, November 13th - with the intention for students to return in-person on Monday, November 16th. WAW will open and dismiss as normally scheduled on Friday, October 30th. This will serve as a day for students to get further instructions from their teachers and gather any belongings they may need during the Remote Learning period.

This transition is due to a recent rise in COVID-19 cases and mandatory quarantines. In addition, all W.A. Wright Elementary Kids Club activities are canceled during this Remote Learning period.

WAW and other proper district personnel will be in direct contact with parents, teachers, staff and students with any added special instructions and guidance during this time.
For any WAW families who need food services during this Remote Learning period, you can place orders with any other school cafeteria manager for the most convenient pick-up location for your family (excluding MJE & SCE due to recent closures). Those orders need to be submitted on the mornings of planned lunch pick-ups for that particular day.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate with extreme caution through the ongoing pandemic.
