It is our goal at Lebanon High School, in this unique time, to offer a healthy and safe environment for students to be a part of while pursuing their academic goals and success. This is a portion of our overall school re-entry plan that specifically addresses the protocols and procedures we will follow as a school community. We will adhere to all Wilson County Schools procedures and, in addition, will provide how we will meet those expectations at our school building specifically. Essentially, I want to walk you through a student’s typical school day on a “traditional” schedule, highlighting the steps we have in place to help ensure your child’s health and safety. I encourage you to reach out to me directly if you have further concerns or questions. Please read this plan in its entirety. As always, thank you for your support.

Dear Future Ninth Grade Parent(s):
We wish to welcome you to Lebanon High School for the 2020-2021 school year!
Each family will be required to complete three important tasks this summer.
□ #1 - Log in to your Skyward Family account after July 8, 2020 and verify that all of the information that transferred from your previous school is correct. Many forms that parents are required to complete the first week of school will now only be available on Skyward. See attached letter for log in info.
□ #2 - Complete the “Returning Student Registration” form in Skyward. This form is to be completed by all students entering the 9th grade from the Lebanon Special School District or a Wilson County feeder school.
□ #3 – Beginning July 8, 2020, you will need to upload two proofs of residency through Skyward or email them to email@example.com or bring two original copies to the LHS Guidance office. In Wilson County Schools, students are required to provide two proofs of residency each year prior to the first day of school each school year. Examples of proofs of residency are: gas, water, electric, rental agreement, mortgage statement, property deed, driver’s license, voter’s registration, and insurance documents. All items must be dated after July 1, 2020 and must be in the primary custodial parent’s name. Students will not be allowed to attend the first day of school without these documents previously submitted.
If your student is not living with both natural parents; proof of custody must be on file at Lebanon High School. This may be either a copy of a divorce decree or parenting plan signed by a judge. Please contact the Registrar at LHS if you have a question regarding this or if your child is on a power of attorney.
Our summer office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. We will have computer labs available each Thursday July 9, 16 and 23rd and will be open until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23rd for anyone who needs to use a computer for the registration process or would like to drop off proofs of residency.
Thank you for your support,
LHS Guidance Office

Graduation 2020: Tuesday, June 16
Remember the times for the two ceremonies:
4:00 PM for students whose last names start with A-K, and
8:00 PM for students whose last names start with L-Z.
While we are so excited to see everyone again and to celebrate these students' success, we are also taking many precautions to adhere to health and safety guidelines set by the CDC and the state government.
We understand that there are many family members and friends that will not be allowed to see the ceremony in-person, so here are some avenues for watching the ceremonies from home.

High School Modified A/B Block Schedule
So what exactly is a "Modified A/B Block High School Schedule?" This video gives a great overall explanation of what that looks like. Our high schools will have this schedule when the 2020-2021 school year begins. So, if you're a high school student in our district, or you're a parent/guardian of a new or returning high school student, then please take some time to check this out!
PLEASE NOTE: This schedule is based on a traditional day with normal school hours. Should the ongoing pandemic force alternate plans to be put into place to start the upcoming school year, then those plans will be addressed at the appropriate time.

Congratulations Lebanon High School rising senior, Haley Grime, who was elected as FBLA State Vice-President for 2020-2021. The announcement was made Friday night in a very special video posted by TN FBLA which included the farewell speeches of the current officers as well as the announcement of the new leadership team. Although she didn't get to conduct her original "Friends" themed campaign at our state leadership conference she was elected by an extensive panel based on an interview conducted via Zoom. Her role begins immediately. Haley is going to make a great VP! She served as the FBLA Region 5 President this school year and those of you who know her would agree she is a an excellent representative for LHS.Seniors: The Senior Fee is $65 and covers the cap, gown, diploma, diploma cover, and tassel.
