High School 101

Welcome to WHS!
 
WHS is excited to offer a high school orientation day for our incoming freshman students to help ease the transition from middle to high school.  

Students will participate in the following: group sessions to familiarize students with high school expectations and procedures, a tour of WHS Campus, and get to know you activities.  

Families must provide transportation.  

Attending one of the orientation days is not required.  Please see the details below.  

Students will attend just one of the days below as the same activities will be presented on both days.  Students will be dropped off and picked up near the commons area on the right side of WHS.  
 
Monday, July 17th  8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.   
Tuesday, July 18th 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Please email Mrs. Burress- 9th and 10th school counselor at lawreapr100@wcschools.com to sign up your student or to ask questions.   When you email to sign up, please let me know which day your student can come.  If your student is available and could come on either day, please let me know that also.  You will receive a confirmation email from Mrs. Burress after your sign up is processed.

We will also have our evening new student orientation on Thursday, July 27th at 6:00 p.m. for students to attend along with their parents/guardians.

WHS Office Summer Hours

The office will be open from 8:00 - 3:00 Mon.- Fri.  We will be closed Monday, May 29th & Tuesday, July 4th.
