  • Phase-In Process to Begin for Grades 6-12 to Return to Traditional Learning Plan

    Wilson County Schools will begin a phase-in process for grades 6-12 to return to Full Time Traditional later this month. On Tuesday, February 16th – all students in grades 6-8 will return to a Full Time Traditional setting.   • Pre-K and K-5 students Transition to a Full Time Traditional Teaching and Learning Schedule Beginning Monday, January 25th

    Wilson County Schools K-5 students will transition to a Full Time Traditional Teaching and Learning schedule beginning on Monday, January 25th. Voluntary Pre-K and Exceptional Education Pre-K will transition to Full Time Traditional as well. Students in grades 6-12 will remain on the current Hybrid Teaching and Learning model.     The Wilson County Board of Education will meet in a Special Called Meeting on January 21, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at the Wilson County BOE Administrative & Training Complex, 415 Harding Drive, Lebanon, TN 37087.   • WCS Remains on Remote Learning Schedule Through January 15, 2021

    Wilson County Schools will remain on a Remote Learning schedule when our current school year resumes on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021. This upcoming Remote Learning period will be in place through Friday, January 15th. The reason is due to the continued rise in COVID-19 cases in our area, and the extremely high level of concern for health and safety following the most recent health data.     Wilson County Schools will be suspending all extracurricular competitions and performances effective on Monday, December 21st, 2020. This suspension is planned to be in place until Sunday, January 3rd. It is the intention of the district to allow these activities to resume on Monday, January 4th.   • WCS Class of 2020 Score Results

    Class of 2020 ACT information has been released from the Tennessee Department of Education, and Wilson County Schools performed exceptionally well. Our Seniors for the 2019-2020 school year raised ACT scores by 0.6 percentage points compared to last year.

  • Special Called Board Meeting Update: 11/30/2020

    At the 11/30/20 Special Called Board of Education Meeting, a motion "to approve mask mandate for K-5 effective 12-2-2020 to be revisited on January 11, 2021" was passed unanimously. Beginning Wednesday, December 2nd, all K-5 students will be required to wear a mask/face covering as we continue to do whatever we can to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
