  • Schools Transitioning to Remote Learning: 12/7/2020 - 12/18/2020

    Four schools that will be transitioning to REMOTE LEARNING on Monday, December 7 -- Friday December 18th 2020. Those schools include: Carroll-Oakland (K-8), Southside (K-8), Springdale Elementary and Stoner Creek Elementary. This REMOTE LEARNING period will lead into the upcoming Holiday/Winter Break. It’s the intention for students in all of these schools to return to their current respective teaching and learning models on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 (K-5 Traditional, Grades 6-8 Hybrid).   • Special Called Board Meeting Update: 11/30/2020

    At the 11/30/20 Special Called Board of Education Meeting, a motion "to approve mask mandate for K-5 effective 12-2-2020 to be revisited on January 11, 2021" was passed unanimously. Beginning Wednesday, December 2nd, all K-5 students will be required to wear a mask/face covering as we continue to do whatever we can to help stop the spread of COVID-19.   • Important Message from Wilson County Schools: July 25, 2020

    The Wilson County Schools Board of Education has voted to approve a calendar change recommendation from Director of Schools, Dr. Donna Wright. That recommendation included moving the start date to our 2020-2021 school year to August 17 for students (teachers would report on August 10).   • KINDERGARTEN PHASE-IN DAYS FOR 2020-2021 & WELCOME LETTER FROM DR. WRIGHT

    Our district will be providing Kindergarten phase-in days the week of August 3rd (Mon, Tue, Wed, and Friday). The phase-in days will allow students to practice participating in a full school day, learn school procedures, and provide an opportunity to meet kindergarten teachers. You will receive further detailed communication from your school of zone pertaining to which day your child will attend during this phase-in week.
