  • Spring 2021 Virtual Learning Program Important Deadline

    The deadline to choose the Virtual Learning Program via Skyward is Friday, October 30, 2020. There will be no exceptions to choose the VLP beyond that deadline date. For families wishing to enroll their child in the VLP for Spring 2021, it’s imperative that the appropriate box is marked on the online form in Skyward. If your child is currently part of the VLP and your family prefers to remain in the VLP for Spring 2021, then you must mark the box in Skyward indicating those plans.     The Wilson County Schools Board of Education has voted to approve a calendar change recommendation from Director of Schools, Dr. Donna Wright. That recommendation included moving the start date to our 2020-2021 school year to August 17 for students (teachers would report on August 10).   • FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR FAMILIES THAT QUALIFY FOR FREE AND REDUCED SCHOOL LUNCHES

    Families can apply for the Pandemic EBT program starting today through June 29, 2020. The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) and the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) announced Tennessee families are now eligible to receive financial support for their children’s nutritional needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. This support is provided through the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program.
