Dr. Alexandra Juneau Named West Elementary School Principal

Wilson County Schools is also very pleased to announce that Dr. Alexandra Juneau, who was serving as West Elementary Interim Principal at the start of this school year has now been named as West Elementary Principal.

In June of 2021, Dr. Juneau came aboard to the district as an assistant principal at West. Prior to that, she was part of Murfreesboro City Schools for several years. She’s been in education, with a variety of classroom and administrative roles for the past 15 years.

Her valuable background, along with first-hand knowledge of students, teachers and families with West will continue to make this a great fit for the West Elementary community.

“While her resume is wonderful, what Dr. Juneau brings that’s really exceptional is her love and care for students, and her desire to see students and teachers succeed,” says Director of Schools Jeff Luttrell. “We’re thrilled to have her part of our school-level administrative team and I know that she will continue to do great things at West.”

‘I’m excited to keep West moving at a high level,” says Dr. Juneau. “The community and family support is incredible and I’m looking forward to even more great things to come for West. Our teachers and students are amazing and it’s a really great place to be.”
