KINDERGARTEN PHASE-IN DAYS FOR 2020-2021 & WELCOME LETTER FROM DR. WRIGHT

Our district will be providing Kindergarten phase-in days the week of August 3rd (Mon, Tue, Wed, and Friday).  The phase-in days will allow students to practice participating in a full school day, learn school procedures, and provide an opportunity to meet kindergarten teachers.  You will receive further detailed communication from your school of zone pertaining to which day your child will attend during this phase-in week.

KINDERGARTEN WELCOME LETTER FROM DR. WRIGHT

Dear Kindergarten Parents and Guardians:

Please allow me to take this opportunity to welcome you and your Kindergartner to the amazing journey of elementary school! Whether this is your first time sending a child to Kindergarten or you are a "seasoned veteran parent", we are extremely pleased to have you in our Wilson County Schools' family. We are excited to begin this adventure with you.

All Wilson County Schools are dedicated to maintaining continuous student achievement with a caring environment. From the first experience in Kindergarten through the last class of high school, your child will have access to meaningful and challenging academic opportunities in a safe, caring, and wellequipped learning environment.

As parents, please know that the teachers and administrators are committed to helping you and your child have a wonderful experience this year. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask - I assure you that you aren't the only one who needs an answer or clarifications. Your teacher and principal will be partners with you in the education of your child. They are there to help, just ask!

Again, I welcome you and your child to Wilson County Schools and wish for you a fabulous year as your child enters the wonderful world of Kindergarten.

Dr. Donna Wright
