Principal Named at Gladeville Middle School

Bethany Wilson

Wilson County Schools Director, Dr. Donna Wright, is pleased to announce that Bethany Wilson, the Assistant Principal of West Wilson Middle School, has been tapped to serve as the Principal of Gladeville Middle School, which opens next fall.

Wilson has worked for the district for more than eight years.  She was hired in 2010 as an English teacher for Wilson Central High School.  In 2015, Wilson was named as the Assistant Principal for West Wilson Middle School.

Prior to coming to Wilson County, Wilson had served as an English teacher for Franklin Road Academy and Metro Nashville Public Schools.

As a 2017 graduate of the Governor’s Academy of School Leadership, Wilson will be an asset to Gladeville Middle School.

Wilson says, "It is a great honor to be selected to serve as the first principal of Gladeville Middle School.  I am excited for the opportunity to work alongside teachers, parents, and students to establish a learning environment where students are our focus and academic excellence is our main pursuit."

Wilson will start her new position on January 3rd, and the search will begin for her replacement at West Wilson Middle School.
