We're excited to announce that Mrs. Christine Miller has been named as the district's Federal Programs Supervisor.
She's been with Wilson County Schools since 1998 and has served in a variety of roles including most recently as principal of Springdale Elementary. A longtime educator and dedicated administrator, her expertise in understanding administrative, teacher and student needs spans across 27 years overall.
"It has been my true pleasure and privilege serving as the principal of Springdale Elementary School for over five years," says Mrs. Miller. "I look forward to transitioning into my new role as Federal Programs Supervisor serving our K-8 schools. It is a position that will allow me to continue to positively impact the growth and success of Wilson County Schools."
Director of Schools Jeff Luttrell is looking forward to Mrs. Miller handling the duties of this position saying, "She's such as asset to this district. She loves students and wants to help provide as many resources for them as she can. This role allows her to do that in so many ways across the district and she'll do a wonderful job with it."
Mrs. Miller will begin making her transition from Springdale to her new position over the next few weeks.
When information regarding a new principal at SDE is available, we will announce promptly.
