Open Enrollment

The 2026-2027 Open Enrollment process for Wilson County Schools will take place on November 3^rd, 2025 and conclude on December 1st, 2025. 

Wilson County School District Parents/Guardians who would like their student to attend a school different from their zoned school can apply by completing the following form:

If you are an employee of Wilson County Schools applying for open enrollment for your student, complete the following form:

Below you will find the schools that are available and the number of seats available per grade level (in the link provided). Please note that if we have more applications than seats available, then a lottery will take place at the Wilson County Board of Education Board Room at a time TBA. All applying parents/guardians will receive an email after the December 1st close date concerning the status of their application.

Another email will be sent out on November 3rd when the Open Enrollment application link is activated. That's when further action is required IF your family is interested.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you were previously approved for Open Enrollment, and your student(s) are attending that preferred school this school year, and will attend that school again next school year, then you do not need to re-apply.
