WCS Chromebook & ClassLink Login
Chromebook Credentials
In Wilson County Schools, parents can typically find student Chromebook credentials within the Skyward Family Access portal. Skyward is the primary portal for parents. Your login is usually created automatically when you enroll your student.
Once the student logs into the Chromebook with their WCS Google account, ClassLink (the "one-stop shop" where students access) should sign them in automatically.
Need to Locate a Student Username Password?
- Log in to your WCS Skyward Family Access account.
- Select your student from the dropdown menu at the top (if you have more than one).
- Click on the Student Information tab on the left-hand sidebar.
- Look for a field labeled "Other ID" or "Student ID”. It will have 5 digits.
- STUDENT USERNAME (Hint: First 5 letters of last name + First 3 letters of first name + County-issued number (ex, 000, 001, etc.)
- STUDENT PASSWORD (Hint: First 3 letters of last name with the first letter capitalized + 5-digit lunch code)
Login Troubleshooting
- If you, as a guardian, forgot your Skyward login: Go to the WCS Skyward Login Page and click "Forgot your Login/Password?" You will receive an email with your username and a reset link.
- If the "Forgot Password" links aren't working or you never received your credentials, contact your School Registrar directly to verify your identity and provide login details.
- If your student is new to Wilson County Schools, check the email address you provided during registration for an account activation message.
- Student Password Resets: If the login isn't working, parents cannot reset a student's password through the Skyward "Forgot Password" link (that only works for parent accounts). You must contact the school's registrar.
- Students in Grades 6-12 have their own separate Skyward accounts. These are usually provided directly to the student by the school, if allowed.
Correct credentials not working? It is also important to note, if the student has not logged in to the device while being on the school's network, the process may not work as intended.
